FAJR has evacuated four severely injured Palestinian children and their companions, a total of 10 Palestinians, from Gaza to Houston, Texas, where they will finally receive the medical care they so desperately need. But behind their fragile smiles lies a heartbreaking story of loss and separation. These children have been torn from the only home they've ever known, leaving behind family, friends, and a life they’ll never fully reclaim. Stepping into a foreign world, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, their bravery masks the deep anxiety and pain of a journey no child should ever have to make. While in Jordan, FAJR patients evacuated from Gaza were warmly welcomed by Princess Dina Mired of Jordan. They were also joined by visitors who came to offer their support, bringing thoughtful gifts to brighten their spirits ahead of their journey to Texas. We are deeply grateful to Princess Dina and everyone who extended their care and kindness during this time. As we look forward to our patients’ safe arrival in Texas, we’ll continue to keep you updated. Support Evacuated Children Out of Gaza at FAJR.org/support-children/

Today has brought positive news. FAJR Scientific has been reinstated to send medical missions to Gaza and provide critical support. We’ve successfully evacuated several children and their companions to Jordan, where they will soon travel to Texas for treatment. Additionally, we evacuated Ali Alatar, an Al-Jazeera journalist injured by an Israeli drone. His condition remains severe, and he has limited memory and speech. Support us at FAJR.org

Sadeen’s journey to recovery continues. After months of healing from her injuries, she is being evacuated for specialized treatment to receive an artificial eye and surgery to restore movement in her left eye. While her burns have mostly healed, we’re focused on improving her scarring and supporting her rehabilitation. Every step forward brings us closer to giving her a brighter future. A big thank you to the specialty hospital in Jordan for their ongoing support and dedication to Sadeen’s care. Support us at FAJR.org/donate

The Younis family’s story is one of immense strength. After a bombing in Gaza, 4-year-old Elia suffered severe burns and amputations, while 8-year-old Salam sustained significant burns on her legs. Both girls were evacuated for urgent care—Elia, after a lengthy ICU stay, is now stable and recovering, and Salam is healing from her skin grafts. We’re deeply thankful to the medical teams in Gaza and Jordan for their unwavering support.

Dr. Tahir has recently arrived in Northern Gaza, ready to provide medical care to those who need it. Crucial medications have also made it to the north, and Dr. Tahir is now focused on ensuring they are sent to the south to help those affected by the crisis. Many problems, as Dr. Tahir mentioned, are beyond their capabilities and resources, however this does not deter them from their mission and they will continue to do everything in their power to help the people of Gaza. Continue to support our mission at FAJR.org
