The Faith to Action Initiative serves as a resource for Christian organizations, churches, and individuals who seek to respond to the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world. Faith to Action promotes best practices in the care of orphaned and vulnerable children among the U.S. Christian community and upholds the vital importance of family and community in the life of every child. Faith to Action carries out this role through programs that raise awareness about the limitations of orphanages, help individuals and ministries strengthen family care, and share innovative ways to take action.

    The UK church cares deeply about global child welfare. But often this goodwill is directed towards institutional care models, which research has shown can have devastating effects on children’s development.? ? Imagine if we could redirect that ￡500 million to bring children back to their families?? ? Homecoming is a coalition?of organisations that believe children thrive in families. ? ? Homecoming exists to inspire and equip the church in the UK and Ireland to support family strengthening, reunification, kinship care, fostering and local adoption as a healthier alternative to orphanages. ? ?
