Emphasis is placed on high growth of services provided with regard to approved designs,] Position Overview: The General Manager will oversee daily operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the organization meets its financial and operational goals. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: A General Manager, or GM, handles the high-level, day-to-day operations of a company and guides the general strategy to improve the overall business functions. Their duties include managing staffing strategies, overseeing all departments and setting goals for their team based on the company's strategic plans. 1-Leadership: Direct and mentor department heads to ensure effective performance and team cohesion. 2- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards. 3-Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; identify cost-saving opportunities. 4-Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth and improve performance. 5- Customer Relations: Enhance customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and feedback mechanisms. 6-Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. 7-Reporting: Provide regular updates to the executive team on operational performance and strategic initiatives. Qualifications: *Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering,MBA preferred. * +20 years of experience in management roles, preferably in Shipyards, shipping companies, classification societies *Proven track record of successful team leadership and operational management. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
