Join us in congratulating our October Employee of the Month, Vivian Wright! Vivian has been at Fairview Park Hospital for almost 40 years, and she currently works in our Patient Transport department. Needless to say, she easily runs circles around everyone! Being one of our patient transporters, Vivian sees patients from every corner of the hospital. She always maintains a calm and kind demeanor when moving patients, no matter the situation. Vivian lights up any room she walks in, which translates over to the patients she cares for. She is thoughtful, kind, and patients are delivered to their destination in a timely manner. From navigating the halls with a friendly smile, to always providing a reassuring presence in moments of uncertainty, Vivian truly goes above and beyond. Whether it's helping ease a patient's nerves or ensuring the seamless flow of our daily operations, her efforts are essential to making our team and our facility function smoothly. Teresa works in our Environmental Services Department, and she is beacon of light for staff and patients. Here are several reasons why she received this award: - Teresa goes above and beyond to help other employees, such as nurses and techs, to ensure patient satisfaction. Even if it is not in her job description, she is always willing to help and has a great attitude. - She is exceptional in the hard work she does to get discharged patient rooms cleaned in an efficient and timely matter. - Teresa always goes above and beyond for the 4th floor patients and staff, no matter what is asked of her! She anticipates needs and meets expectations. She is always calm, well-mannered, caring, and professional. She has a warm personality and is dedicated to her patients. - She is always pleasant in her interactions. She is a true team player, and we couldn’t ask for more! - Teresa is very loving and understanding. This wonderful woman always greets me with a big smile and a “Good morning!” If we need something done, she is on top of it immediately. She is driven, and nothing gets in her way of getting a task done. Not to mention, she is a cleaning machine! I have literally seen her cleaning the dust off the bottom of the chairs in the nurse's station. She is a great soul to work with and be around!
