As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on an incredible year of progress, connection, and impact at Fairpointe Planning! ?? From engaging 700+ people at tabling events to hosting community meetings with over 300 attendees, we’ve worked hard to connect with diverse communities. We proudly participated in festivals, shared updates on transformative projects like Gallatin Pike and Highway 100 Complete Streets, and supported initiatives like the NNTC Art Installation. We’ve also contributed to several plans including ARC’s Public Participation Plan, the Connect Downtown Action Plan, Oneida Mobility and Safety Plan, and several NCHRP research projects to name a few. This year, we also moved into a new building, welcomed new team members and interns, gave back to our community, and celebrated our CEO and Founding Principal’s recognition as one of Nashville’s Women of Influence! Last week was a momentous one. I had the privilege of participating in the Association for Commuter Transportation’s #TDMForum, joining a distinguished panel of experts—Rosalind Tucker, TDM-CP, Imani Johnson, Matt Meservy, PE, TDM-CP, and Amanda Luecker—in a thought-provoking discussion on "TDM for Everyone: Equity and Inclusive Design." Together, we explored actionable strategies for creating more inclusive transportation planning practices. To cap off the week, we celebrated the grand opening of our new office space. It was a delightful occasion made possible by the talented team at Fairpointe Planning. I extend my sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of both events.
