Alzheimer's Awareness in Fairlawn! ? A heartfelt thank you to Taylor Boyd, Alzheimer's Association Volunteer, for delivering an insightful presentation on the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's. Her session was invaluable in raising awareness and empowering our community to recognize the early signs of Alzheimer's and dementia. ???? A special thank you to Lisa Vollmer, Assisted Living & Wellness Director at Fairlawn, for expertly coordinating this impactful event. Her dedication continues to make a difference in our community.

Tina brings a wealth of experience in marketing, development, and donor relations, along with a proven track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives. Her expertise in cultivating meaningful relationships will be instrumental in advancing our mission to empower older adults to live fulfilling lives. A proud resident of Defiance, Ohio, Tina values family and community above all else. When she’s not working, she enjoys quality time with her husband, Lavon, their two Shih Tzus, and their three adult children. ?????????? Exploring New Opportunities in Retirement Living: A Visit to Fairlawn ?? We were thrilled to host Ricardo Hernandez, CEO of the Puerto Rico Hospital System, as he visited Fairlawn to explore opportunities in the retirement living space. As a member of the Mennonite Health Services (MHS) Association, Ricardo is focused on expanding affordable, high-quality retirement communities that offer more moderate-priced amenities and services—a growing need in Puerto Rico, where most retirement options are currently high-end. During his visit, we gave Ricardo a tour of the Fairlawn campus and engaged in meaningful conversations about meeting the needs of seniors looking for more accessible, well-rounded options. We look forward to continuing our discussions and exploring future opportunities.
