关于我们
Fair Job UK is an Employer Accreditation and HR Support Service dedicated to restoring Common Sense Human Resources and Employee Relations to the UK workplace. UK Society is more politically partisan than ever and this spills into the workplace confusing employers and employees alike over their statutory and contractual obligations. Aimed at supporting the smaller employer (under 2000 workers) and the Small to Medium Enterprise market (under 250 employees) we are priced to allow the smallest of employers to access our services with annual subscription rates of £190 + VAT for businesses turning over less than £150k pa. More and more SMEs are telling us they are spending increasing amounts of time managing HR and especially employee and inter colleague relationships in the workplace. The rush to implement EDI has resulted in negative outcomes (see Department of Business and Trade Report March 2024) creating an atmosphere of fear and mistrust at work and empowering activist employees. The impact on productivity is detailed in the government report, whilst this is a problem for larger employers it is existential for smaller businesses who simply lack the expertise and experience to manage an increasingly complex employee relations field. Several recent Employment Tribunal results have worryingly created precedent for the Tribunal Service to insert itself into the micro management of communication between employer to employee and colleague to colleague. Nolan vs Fairchild 2024 ruled that employees offended by the mild clumsy banter of others in the workplace have grounds for discrimination claims. It doesn't matter if you are running a guesthouse or a FTSE250, you are now expected to be an expert in managing communication between adults in the workplace. We will help you navigate through this and minimise the risk to your business, allowing you to focus on running it.

workplace groupthink - how to avoid it
Richard Palmer follows up on his article about organisational groupthink with a summary of how groupthink (known as the Abilene Paradox in organisational behavioural studies), manifests and how developments in working arrangements and the impact of digitisation on organisational culture has turbocharged the risk of the paradox manifesting and groupthink forming. https://lnkd.in/eC4DY-Gr #groupthink #TheAbileneParadox #organisationalbehavior #toxicworkplaces
