    I told my team “Let’s run it up this year and show everyone in the nation’s capital what true disruption for Black and Brown males in school should look and feel like. Today we accepted two awards from the distinguished @empowerk12. The first award was for bold performance (1 of 12 schools awarded) and the second award was for the Most Inspiring School award among Washington D.C. public and charter schools. It feels amazing for my team’s hard work and the work of our young kings to be recognized.
