David Camayo Ocampo '25 attended the 50th Annual SHPE National Convention in Anaheim, California. "My biggest takeaway from attending the convention was the importance of networking and building strong industry connections, especially within the aerospace industry. Being surrounded by diverse professionals who shared their own stories and successes was incredibly motivating and reminded me how important a community as well as mentorship is in achieving one's goals."

Had a great time at the 2024 BMES Annual Meeting in Baltimore. Elia Haghbin and Leslie Abbott presented their research on using molecular dynamics to explore the potential of bacteriorhodopsin as a biological memory device. Ryan Jaworski, Zuzanna Janusz, and Luke Bornstein presented their work on enhancing biomedical research efficacy, as well as the high school team from Central High School—Titus Graham, Gabrial Verges, Zi'Ayanna Mason, and G-brown Gervil—who showcased their summer research project.
