You may have heard about the challenges people have had filling out the #FAFSA since the beginning of the year. In Wisconsin, only 29.5 percent of the high school class of 2024 has completed their FAFSA, down more than 8,000 completions from last year, as of May 1st. This delay risks students' college dreams and the surest path to good-paying jobs in Wisconsin's future workforce. (National College Attainment Network (NCAN)). Live Info Session: What’s New With FAFSA and How to Get Help Hosted by the Wisconsin Coalition on Student Debt Tuesday, February 20, 2024, noon-1pm Central The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) just launched on December 31 with the biggest changes in a generation. This live virtual info session covers the key changes and how they affect students. We'll review how this year's FAFSA changes the timeline for financial aid offers and how you can get free, individualized help completing your FAFSA in Wisconsin. The second half of the session will be dedicated to answering attendees' questions about the new FAFSA.
