I'm so excited that IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show is finally here! It’s been a whirlwind getting ShopFloor Coffee ready for the event, but I’m incredibly proud of how everything has come together. From a jumble of boxes to my amazing help (aka Mom) setting up, to Mike Franz and I almost killing each other during the process—the booth (121126, East building, Level 2) now looks incredible! Ok, I’ve had time to get back in shape and the lawn is looking much better. It’s time to focus on my next goal, and you can help me. I need to start working as an Engineer before Thanksgiving. That job can be an onsite position in El Paso, TX or within the state of NM. I'm also open to a remote position that I can do at my home office in NM (with some travel as needed). I bring 5 year of R&D Lab experience testing products and developing prototypes along with 10 years of design/ project management experience where I designed components, assemblies and systems while working with vendors and clients up to commissioning and then as the client’s technical advisor after commissioning. My experience includes industrial and military projects. Cad systems I have used include AutoCad, SolidWorks, and Creo. I am comfortable working with clients and vendors directly. When explaining technical subjects, I can bring the subject to my audience’s level. Finally, I enjoy learning new things and solving difficult problems.
