He received the Joanne O'Connor President's Award from ADMEI President Denise Malo, DMCP along with his fellow reviewers of the Best Practices in Destination Management book that was published this past year. Students had an unforgettable experience touring factor 110, cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder, and visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. They honored the lives lost on April 19, 1995 through a wreath-laying ceremony and gained a deeper understanding of that tragic day, the resilience that followed, and the importance of leading with kindness, service, and honor. This high-energy, interactive experience empowered leaders to unlock their leadership potential, connect with fellow FBLA members, and "learn to lead" through group training sessions and workshops. They heard from a lineup of impactful speakers and topics, including Chasing Dreams: A Country Music Journey from Vinyl to The Voice with NBC's The Voice star Bailey Rae, engaging in the energetic Magnificent Team Challenge, diving deep into Minding Your Manners, American Enterprise Day Panel: Business Builds Community, and Let Go of the Rope: Creating Unlimited Confidence with Diana Rogers Jaeger!
