As our FM Pipeline Team's high school and post-secondary FM programming expands, we're honored for the American Society for Health Care Engineering's collaboration toward the Wellhead program's ignition. The recent ASHE Heath Care Innovation Conference in Anaheim was a fantastic canvas to share our students' stories, our challenges, triumphs and incredible opportunity toward growing our #NextGenOfFM. A new generation of facility managers comes from one place- high school. . That's precisely what we do. The Facilithon program is growing out from 17 states and DC, while ASHE has committed an initial industry contribution to Wellhead's funding drive, an example for those in need of young adult FM talent to follow. ASHE has also helped formulate and edit competitive content for our students, engaged, enlightened and energized about FM at a critical, decisive age. Its Recognition Time! The FM Pipeline Team has a lot of YOU, built environment FM professionals who pop in and judge our contests, share our story at SkillsUSA conferences and ensure the FM career path is heard loud and clear in the United States. There are folks we partner with who deserve recognition- this time its SkillsUSA Advisors, typically high school instructors who share the FM career path and the Facilithon competition, a pinnacle level event for students with a wide skillset and the love of a new challenge every day. These will become the finely-honed swiss army knives of their employers, ready for your next critical FM task. Please join us in congratulating RENEE WADE from Ozarks Tech for her determination to launch the Facilithon program in Missouri and finding a school to host its state competition this year. Great Job Renee Wade!!!

I'm here today at the Road Home breakfast in Madison wisconsin, an organization that supports families and individuals experiencing homelessness. When I think about all the coffee, all the rolls, all the other things that we're consuming here, one also has to consider that against what this group is working to offset, societal problems that all lead to homelessness, something one never wants to experience. Our MC suggested that homelessness represents the canary in a coal mine, an emergency indicator of larger social ills, healthcare, disparity in opportunity and don't let me of other problems organizations like this work daily to battle. When an organization like this ask you to come to breakfast, bring your checkbook.

Big 7 out of 5 To Geoff Allen at Riot Imaging, a part of ARC and ARC Facilities, who printed all of our national finals materials in Atlanta last week, you're FANTASTIC! When you roll into a conference only once per year, there's always something you learn you need that isn't present, or a poster board that needs to be be bigger, etc. Geoff and his team at Riot Color Atlanta did a famous job of accommodating us while we were pressing the flesh!
