How many custom GPTs have you created so far? I have been playing around with creating one for each of the high cognitive load tasks I have that is periodic. These tasks seem to be the most disruptive to my week, as I have to clear time and my schedule to think deeply. So I've been trying to reduce the cognitive switching cost of jumping into a high output task (mainly writing), although this helps with other outputs, too. 1?? First, I started with an "Agile Requirements Writer" ??. Most of my work is around solutions architecture and synthesizing "what good looks like" for my team and my clients. The nice thing about having the requirements writer is I can get it to output near perfect JIRA tickets... titled and written in the exact formatting I want. I can now get on a Zoom call, export the transcript, clean it up and format the outline, then give it to the requirements writer to generate tickets. 80% done in a fraction of the time. Oh, and get more requirements? Go back to the same thread and expand the context. 2?? Second, I wrote a "Digital Blog Writer" for Facet Interactive's Digital division. We've been ramping up our content production and while we still have a part-time copywriter in the mix, our ability to work on an outline, swag out a concept, and iterate, has greatly increased our throughput and quality. 3?? Third, we have a "Digital Proposal Writer" for drafting proposals. Our proposal writing process is pretty formulaic. We cover an Overview, Background, Business Value, and Assumptions before diving into Scope and Functional Requirements. The end state of these documents is a Brief that we can easily turn into a full Proposal format. No, it doesn't generate the nice PDFs or Keynotes we need, but I'm sure that will come one day (with the right integrations). 4?? Fourth, just today I've setup a "Job Description Writer" for our Digital division once again. I collected my favorite Job Descriptions we've drafted for other roles. They're all in our Notion database that posts to our website. Among these we have our standard boilerplate about our Culture and Topgrading methodologies for creating scorecards and Measured Outcomes. It is less formulaic, but at least now I can ask ChatGPT to go out and research other job descriptions for a similar role. I'm writing ?6??? job descriptions today. A task that would have normally probably taken me all weekend. Now, I'll likely be done within the hour. I have a few ideas for other things I've been waiting to have time to automate with GPT. I can share them in the comments... But I'm curious what you've been automating with Custom GPTs?
