At times, HR can be a thankless job. It’s a support to every business in which we play a background lead. HR is the playwright to operation leaders. We wear many hats, often times many hats at the same time. This year one of those hats was being asked to help coordinate our Annual Christmas outreach program. Each year I look forward to bringing the Christmas spirit to those who need it most. While up at our Support Center today for our Annual Christmas party, I was recognized in front of peers, my boss, our executives, and owner with one of our Core Value pins for the work I did on the outreach program. I’m so grateful for leaders and a culture in which silent deeds are acknowledged and celebrated. In the last 2.5 years, I’ve been given opportunities and experiences in which I don’t know I would have gotten anywhere else. This holiday season I reflect and am so thankful that while there may be tough days, that there is impact to be had in unique small ways. Thank you FACE!!
