Join the French and American Francophile community on Saturday 9/28 at 9 AM at the National Constitution Center and at 10:30 AM at Independence Hall to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of General Lafayette’s Farewell Tour of the United States! After helping the Americans defeat the British in the Revolutionary War, the Marquis de Lafayette returned to the U.S. in 1824 to visit the 24 states that existed at the time. He was enthusiastically received by the Americans as the biggest celebrity of the day!
