Humberto Flores, of our Memphis Division, competed in the 2025 National Craft Championships in Las Vegas February 25th – 27th. Humberto won the gold medal for the drywall scope of the competition!! This competition consisted of a written exam and a practical performance test which required the craftsman to complete hands-on tasks specific to their trade. 🏆 Humberto also took home the Safety Award for displaying proper use of PPE, hand and power tools, ladder safety, etc. Judging for this award was based on OSHA regulations and standards. Humberto represented F.L. Crane & Sons, Inc. is a big way and his hard work paid off with the recognition he deserves. Our 2025 Division Manager’s meeting was a great success! Our managers came together to plan for the year ahead, ensuring we’re ready to handle any challenges that come our way as a unified team. These meetings aren’t just about work – our team also had the chance to bond over delicious locally sourced food and entertainment! A big shoutout to Justin Parker and Trevor McKay for treating us to some amazing live music while we enjoyed our meal at Nautical Whimsey! We’re excited to share the latest photos from our project at the Enterprise State Community College Performing Arts Center in Enterprise, AL! Our scope of work includes: cold-formed exterior framing, interior metal stud framing, insulation, drywall, acoustical grid & tile ceilings, acoustical wall panels, and wood sound reflector panels. You’ll notice the partially painted walls in the Recital Hall and Entry, which is to prepare for the installation of the wood and acoustical panels. We’re on track to finish our portion of the work by mid-April, with the full project slated for completion in June 2025.
