Today, our firm reflects on the significance of Veterans Day and the dedication and bravery of all who have served in the U.S military. We recognize and honor all these individuals. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.?

Earlier this week, members of our staff visited Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City to cook for and serve families with sick children staying at local hospitals. Ronald McDonald House is a program that helps reduces stress and the financial burden for families travelling far from home to access medical care. They provide resources and housing for families so they can focus on what matters most - the health of their child.

FSC has been busy at the theatre—but not because we’ve suddenly decided to chase our dreams of singing on Broadway. ?? ? We’ve been playing our part as MEP engineers, fire protection specialists, and code consultants for Starlight Theatre’s renovation! We were thrilled to be a part of the groundbreaking on Wednesday, and even more so to be a part of the project alongside GastingerWalker&. ? This $40 million project is years in the making and will add a new guest canopy, production bridge, community programs, a new kitchen, renovated restrooms, and more—all to enhance guest and performer experience at the theatre! FSC is excited to welcome Audrey Stephanie Walujo to our team as a code and life safety consultant. A recent graduate of the University of Kansas, Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, with a focus in Strategic Communications. With her academic background and unique blend of design and banking experience, she brings a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving to her new role. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, live events, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines. We’re glad to have you on the team, Stephanie!?

We had an amazing time at the UMKC Career Fair last Friday meeting so many talented and driven young people. ??
