Many thanks to our EZTaylor board member, Jacob Qualls, who ran the New York City Marathon to raise awareness of our mission to educate African-American males. Jacob used his story of being a ONE-lunged marathon runner to increase donations, thus resulting in our ability to award more college scholarships! Thank you Jacob for your commitment and dedication. We honor you! https://lnkd.in/emn5y7ud

Wow…what a week it’s been!?!? Sincere thanks to those who donated, prayed, cheered, sent affirmations, and general support for this one-lunged runner at the 2024 New York City Marathon as it set the tone for: - The most difficult marathon in the world to somehow become my fastest official marathon… - Thousands of dollars to be raised for the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Foundation in support of young college bound and collegiate Black Men in Chicago impacted by gun violence… As a Board Member for the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarahip Foundation , I’m proud to represent the organization and make the continued ask (now that election donation requests have ended in the US) for continued support in this campaign to help our youth cross their finish lines at https://lnkd.in/gcUasTgj
