This is one of those projects that truly pushed my creative boundaries—designing and illustrating the margarita cans for Hella Cocktail Co. What a ride it has been! From the outset, it wasn’t clear which direction we should take for Hella’s new product line. The RTDC (Ready-to-Drink Cocktail) scene is crowded, and we needed to stand out. After countless iterations and brainstorming sessions, we decided on a flavor-first approach that really shifted our perspective. This choice led us to adopt a Conte Crayon style for the illustrations—artistic, bold, and a tad unconventional. It was new territory for me, a leap from the typical, but it perfectly captured the essence we were aiming for—vibrant, full of life, and irresistibly inviting. Drawing each fruit by hand, I got to explore what makes Hella’s cocktails special. It felt like sketching the flavors themselves, translating taste into color and lines. Seeing these cans now, knowing the journey they’ve been on, and hearing the love from customers, it’s immensely fulfilling. A big shout-out to Tobin Ludwig and Eddie Simeón for their vision and collaboration on this project. I believe in helping my clients grow their business’ by providing them with a strong visual brand foundation so that all design remains consistent throughout. My diverse background in all aspects of the creative process brings a unique and fun edge to everything I produce. From research and brainstorming to production, I enjoy the journey of bringing brands to life. WHY BRANDING IS SO IMPORTANT As human beings, we have what is called a “memory bank”. We experience things, hear certain sounds, see different visuals, feel different textures and taste different flavors. Every time we experience or sense something we like, it creates a memory. Your brand should stand out to your customers, leaving them with a lasting impression that keeps them coming back for more. 8 CHARACTERISTICS EVERY SUCCESSFUL BRAND MUST HAVE: 1.) A UNIQUE PRODUCT OR SERVICE What makes your product or service unique, fun, and exciting? You want to build a product or a brand that people will want to keep coming back to because they’ve had such a great experience with it. 2.) A STORY Customers like the sentimental connection of hearing your story. They like to know the history behind who you are and how your business came to be. 3.) A TARGET MARKET Knowing your target market is a crucial part of your brand and the marketing involved. 4.) AN ONLINE PRESENCE You should always have an online presence and constantly be updating it with different SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies. 5.) GREAT DESIGN + BRAND CONSISTENCY Great brand design is more than just a logo, a brand is a feeling or a memory. It’s how the customer remembers you through visuals, communication, and experience. 6.) FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE Customer satisfaction is vital. 7.) THE “WOW” FACTOR Surprise them so that they can’t stop talking about how awesome your business is. 8.) CONFIDENCE What matters is your confidence in your business and what YOU believe. Be your genuine self by following your intuition.

A strong brand identity relies on versatility—and your logo is no exception. One logo style won’t work for every platform or use case. Here’s why having multiple variations is essential: 1?? Horizontal Logo: Best for websites, headers, and banners—ideal for wide spaces. 2?? Square or Circle Badge: Compact and versatile, these are perfect for swag like hats, shirts, and promotional materials. 3?? Vertical Logo: Tailored for tall spaces like water bottles, banners, or any vertical applications. 4?? Left-Justified Logo: Great for letterheads and documents, tucking neatly into a corner. 5?? Monogram: A secondary emblem for subtle branding on swag or as a unique design element. By investing in these logo variations, brands can maintain consistency while adapting to a variety of formats and contexts. Curious about how this applies to your brand? ?? Typography Stories: Why Furlong Vintage Stands Out Fonts do so much more than convey words—they set the tone, evoke emotions, and tell a story. One font that’s been on my radar lately is Furlong Vintage, a classic display serif that balances timeless elegance with a touch of modern style. What makes Furlong so beautiful? It’s the details: ? Minimal ornate flourishes: These give it character without overwhelming the design. ? Unique letterforms: Each character feels intentional, bringing personality and sophistication. ? Matching ornate italic: This opens up creative possibilities, especially for projects that require both boldness and refinement. Furlong is ideal for projects that need to feel elevated yet approachable—think fashion branding, editorial design, or logos that need to stand out while staying classy. As a designer, I love fonts that can adapt to different needs, and Furlong Vintage is versatile enough to be a standout choice. It creates visual harmony while adding just enough flair to catch the eye. How do you approach typography in your projects? Let’s chat about the role fonts play in design strategy! #TypographyStories #DesignLeadership #GraphicDesignCommunity #TypographyMatters #CreativeIndustry

I still remember the day of my first business photo shoot like it was yesterday. For the longest time, I avoided being in the spotlight—too nervous to put myself out there, worried about drawing too much attention. Honestly, I don’t even know why I hesitated now, because these photos turned out to be a celebration of everything I’d worked so hard to accomplish. That shoot wasn’t just about pictures. It was about taking a step back and realizing how far I’d come, both personally and professionally. It’s a little emotional looking back at that moment and seeing how much I’ve grown since then. With the new year coming up, I’ve been reflecting on what’s next for me and my business. There’s a lot to think about, but one thing’s clear: ?? If you’ve been holding back from celebrating yourself—whether that’s booking the photo shoot, posting that content you’ve been overthinking, finally taking that leap of faith, or just giving yourself credit for how far you’ve come—don’t wait. The world deserves to see what you’ve got. Here’s to new beginnings in 2025! ?? Stay tuned—big things are on the way. #BusinessGrowth #ProfessionalMilestones #CelebrateYourself #PersonalGrowth #EntrepreneurLife #BusinessOwner #NewYearGoals
