Solving for Shaq Mode and Jack Mode No, Eyebot co-founder and CTO Jack Moldave isn't pictured. I couldn't find one of him and Shaq but you get the point. Sorry, Jack..... This image is representative of one of the problems that the Eyebot team had to solve to help the widest range of people possible get more access to high-quality vision care while keeping the hardware design and user experience convenient, reliable, and predictable. Understanding and addressing user height is a critical part of Eyebot's self-serve vision testing process. Not an easy task. The result? ? ? ?

Eyebot is building a company on a foundation of product and commercial excellence while remaining focused on the mission of removing the universal barriers to clear vision for everyone. What do you do at Eyebot? I am the newest team member at Eyebot, serving as the Operations Coordinator and Kiyo’s best supporter! I intend to assist with everything that is not related to engineering. ? ?? What problem are you most excited to solve at Eyebot? Knowing how time-consuming and inconvenient it can be to update your prescription and get new contacts, I am excited to be part of a team that makes this process quicker, more convenient, and affordable. From my experience in my family’s factory, I learned that when launching a new product, you should expect that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. With an entrepreneurial and problem-solving spirit, I am eager to tackle these challenges. ?? It’s focus time. Headphones are on. What are you listening to? High-tempo and danceable music is the best way to start, continue, and end my day. For focus time, I prefer upbeat music with minimal lyrics, so most of my research in college was done while listening to EDM remixes. ?? What’s your favorite Boston lunch spot and what do you order? Sweetgreen's salads are my favorite summer lunch spot, and I love the Harvest Bowl with goat cheese. ?? What’s your dream vacation destination? Vacation for me is a combination of relaxing, exploring, and swimming in crystal clear waters. Greece’s endless blue is always a great vacation spot for me, but my dream vacation destination lately is Koh Phi Phi Don in Thailand.

As an Engineering Technician I do a variety of things at Eyebot. My main focus is the electrical and mechanical assembly of Eyebot’s prototypes. I also design and create various fixtures and devices for R&D. ?? What problem are you most excited to solve at Eyebot? I am most excited to help people get better access to eye care. ?? It’s focus time. Headphones are on. What are you listening to? Boards of Canada is one of my go to electronic artists. The absence of lyrics really helps me stay focused. ?? What’s your favorite Boston lunch spot and what do you order? One of my favorite lunch spots in Boston is Fish Taco, where I cannot resist ordering fish tacos. ?? What’s your dream vacation destination? I have always dreamed of going backpacking in New Zealand.
