On this day 23 years ago, Extreme Steel Inc. was established with a goal to change the DMV skyline as well as help to restore Americas history. As we approach nearly (1,500) projects completed over the years with numerous awards for maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship on some of the most challenging & monumental projects that this area has had to offer; we reflect back on all the projects, people & events that ESI has had a privilege to be a part of. While these projects ranged anywhere from a historical renovations to the creation of new impressive structures; it is motivating to know that future generations will appreciate & utilize the work performed by “Team Extreme”. The Brightview Northfax project is making great progress. As of this week we’ve started going vertical from our 3rd floor podium slab with wood framing on the Independent Living side of the building, and structural steel work on the Assisted Living/Memory Care side of the building. Interior/exterior framing & CMU work are progressing along with overhead rough-ins. When the project is complete, the 7-story building will have 200 units, consisting of 110 Independent Living Units, 64 Assisted Living units, and 26 Memory Care units. Our Winchester Miscellaneous Shop is knocking out another Stair Tower for an upcoming project. Depending on the site access and work areas, we build the Stairs fully assembled or "knocked down" as needed. Regardless of how they leave our Shops, our Team incorporates features to assist the Field to make the installation a safer and faster process. #extremesteel #steel #winchester #DMV
