“Meet people from the internet” they said, “it’ll be fun,” they said. Well…. “they” were right! Transform was this week, and Victoria Gates and I finally got to meet the faces behind the fun, creative, intelligent videos so many of us see on social media. My favorite part about meeting these other content creators, is they were all so kind, fun and encouraging. There's something truly special about connecting in person with people whose work you've admired from afar. The energy was exciting - lots of smiles and enthusiastic conversations. What struck me most was how generous everyone was with their time and insights. A group lifting each other up, sharing tips, and celebrating each other's successes. On top of that, they were all up for my weird vision of shooting a video while holding hands and trying not to barf. ??
