Exciting News! ?? We’ve rebranded the Graduate Consulting Capstone LinkedIn page to Experiential Learning at the Wisconsin School of Business! Why the change? Because hands-on, real-world learning happens across all programs at the Wisconsin School of Business—and we want to keep you in the loop! We'll still be sharing updates on our UW-Madison's Business Analytics MSBA Consulting Capstone, but now you’ll also see highlights from immersion trips, case competitions, hackathons, and other experiential learning initiatives across both graduate and undergraduate programs. WSB students are solving real business challenges, working alongside industry leaders, and applying classroom knowledge in ways that make an impact. Recently, the Graduate Employer Relations at the Wisconsin School of Business organized a career trek for UW-Madison's Business Analytics MSBA students, and we were fortunate to be along for the ride! ?? Epic: Students engaged with analysts who shared their non-traditional journeys into analytics, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and problem-solving. The vibrant culture, enhanced by community ties and unique campus features, highlighted the significance of continuous learning. ??American Family Insurance: Students learned about the impactful use of analytics across various operational sectors. AmFam's commitment to innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration showcased the power of diverse backgrounds in driving success. ?? This month, we're proud to highlight Minqi Liao, an inspiring member of our Class of ‘22! Originally from China, Minqi transitioned from her undergrad studies to join our UW-Madison's Business Analytics MSBA program without prior analytics experience. Now, she’s thriving at Walmart GoLocal where she’s part of the Business Analytics & Insights team, focusing on data analysis for last-mile delivery. Minqi credits the program for equipping her with vital technical skills like SQL and Tableau, as well as enhancing her soft skills in storytelling and communication.
