When Joanna Kirke, MBA, PCC first heard her team describe her as powerful, she was taken aback. Like many women, Joanna once believed power was tied to titles. But over time, she redefined it. She realized that real power isn’t about authority—it’s about influence. It’s about inspiring others. It’s about showing up as your authentic self, despite the barriers placed in your way. And being underestimated? Well, that just fueled her. It pushed her to master her craft, to prove—most importantly to herself—that she deserved it. Now, as a facilitator and leader, she channels that fire into helping others step into their own power. Joanna’s story is just one of many we’re sharing as part of our International Women’s Day series—a celebration of the women in our community who lead, uplift, and inspire. Because power isn’t something given. It’s something claimed. #WomensHistoryMonth #IWD

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate our partner, Myeong-Gu Seo, who has officially delivered 30 ExperienceChange? workshops to more than 1,700 learners! For over 20 years, Myeong-Gu has served as a distinguished professor at the University of Maryland, where he brings his expertise in organizational and institutional change to the R.H. Smith School of Business. His groundbreaking work has been featured in prestigious journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology and Leadership Quarterly. Among his most compelling studies is a 2021 Organization Science publication, where he and his colleagues explored whether getting emotional at work can increase innovation (spoiler alert: it can!). If you’d like to dive deeper into his research, check out the article in our comments section. For now, let’s take a moment to celebrate Myeong-Gu’s incredible achievement. Congratulations!

Numbers tell us what’s happening, but people tell us why. Calling all #SIOP2025 Conference attendees: It’s time to rethink how we collect and interpret talent data. These days, it’s too easy to fall into the trap of over-relying on large-scale quantitative data. Although this approach may surface trends more quickly, it often misses the nuance and depth that qualitative human insights provide. But what if we could merge both approaches for a more accurate picture? That’s exactly what our very own Andrew Webster, alongside Robin Cohen and Cody Martin, SPHR from Johnson & Johnson, Alexis Fink from Meta, and Haley Kuschman from Qualtrics, will explore in their session: “Revolutionizing Talent Data Collection: Bridging Quantitative and Qualitative” What to expect:? ? A lively debate that puts industry biases under the microscope—revealing the common traps practitioners fall into based on industry research and practical lessons from the field. ? Then, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on exercise, working with real datasets to practice new skills and blending insights across approaches for higher-quality insights. Catch their Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) session at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 5th and let us know if you’ll be there ??

  • Full gender parity is still 134 years away, according to the World Economic Forum. That’s five generations from now. This stark reality reminds us why the theme of this year’s INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY (MARCH 8) is “Accelerate Action.” So, how can we all help? Here are a few ways: ?? Support women and girls into leadership, decision-making, business and STEM. ?? Provide women and girls with access to quality education and training. ?? Recruit, retain and develop diverse talent. At ExperiencePoint, we believe real change happens with people, not for them. When those most affected are actively involved, progress isn’t just possible—it’s unstoppable. So let's get started ?? #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #InternationalWomensDay

  • ? "Not even water?" Yes, not even water! But Ramadan is more than a month of fasting, it’s a celebration of unity, generosity and shared experiences. Our colleagues Andaleeb Ahmed and Marzooq Haque recently shared personal insights on Ramadan, highlighting its significance for many around the world. Whether it’s gathering for Iftar, supporting those in need, or simply checking in on one another, this month reminds us that true strength comes from community and connection. At ExperiencePoint, we’ve seen how the best ideas happen when people come together with a shared purpose, whether in the workplace, in leadership or in our personal lives. Ramadan is a beautiful reminder that when we uplift others, we all grow stronger. ?? Wishing everyone observing a month filled with peace, togetherness, and meaningful connections. Ramadan Mubarak!
