Helping leaders learn by doing, through experience.
关于我们
Humans learn by doing, through experience. That’s why we’re called Experience Institute. Since 2012, Experience Institute has been at the forefront of designing transformational workplace learning programs that help individuals and teams reach their full potential. It’s our mission to reignite motivation and growth at work. We do so through our signature experiential learning approach, Leaps, which is designed to empower learners to develop crucial skills, step out of their comfort zones, and make meaningful impact. In interactive workshops, both in-person and virtual, employees develop key skills and mindsets as the foundation of their learning. Then, they take on a self-directed project – called a Leap – to apply their new learning directly to challenges they face at work. Our programs culminate with a chance to reflect on the learning journey, celebrate breakthroughs, and ensure learning sticks long after the program ends. If you’re looking for non-boring corporate training that packs a punch, you’ve come to the right place.

Sara Loncka and Erin Murphy are just back from Experience Institute's first CLO Exchange with lots of insights to share! It's an exciting time to be shaping the future of learning.
Learning teams—like our own at Experience Institute—spend their careers helping others reskill, upskill, build confidence, embrace new mindsets, and plan their next steps. It's incredible work. But sometimes, we’re a little like the cobbler’s kids. It can be tough to prioritize learning for ourselves when we're so focused on creating growth opportunities for others. This week, Erin Murphy and I attended the CLO Exchange with the intent to meet learning leaders and explore potential partnerships. Never having attended before, what I didn’t fully anticipate was just how much depth and insight I’d gain about the challenges and priorities shaping the future of learning. Opinions and experiences varied, but a few key themes stood out: ?? Measuring and proving ROI in learning and development – the how, the why, the to what end ?? AI’s role in learning – Especially in coaching as a way to embed and reinforce new practices ?? Importance of metacognitive skills – a cornerstone for navigating a rapidly evolving workplace; these have durability! ?? Balancing proactivity and reactivity – addressing immediate learning needs while staying ahead of future demands Leaving Miami just in time to see the sun rise over the Atlantic, I couldn’t help but reflect on how moments like these—the quiet, transitional ones—are where clarity begins. The insights from this week are already sparking ideas, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they’ll guide Ei’s work in the months ahead.

?? It’s that time again – holiday parties, everywhere! From team gatherings to family get-togethers, it’s the season of celebration. But let’s be real: a truly memorable party doesn’t just happen. Without intention (and a bold purpose), end-of-year celebrations can feel, well… a bit routine. ?? In this week’s Wednesday Words, Sara Loncka dives into how to make any gathering meaningful. Inspired by her “favorite things” themed birthday parties, and insights from our go-to expert Priya Parker, Sara shares three prompts to help you elevate your gatherings – personal or professional. ?? And for anyone looking to shake things up for your team this holiday season, we’re hosting a free workshop on November 22 at noon CT. We’ll guide you through a process to design an intentional, fresh take on your team’s EOY celebration. So if you’re a learning leader, HR professional, manager, or just someone who loves a good celebration, consider this your invite to craft something memorable. ?? ?? Last week, Sara Loncka and Erin Murphy headed off to the Culture Summit to soak up some wisdom from People + Culture practioners and to share our Leaps methodology through their session 'Leap to Level Up Your Culture.' In this week's Wednesday Words, Erin dives into one of her favorite takeaways from the Summit: Derek Newberry of co:collective's Cultural Architecture framework for understanding, shaping, and maintaining workplace culture. It’s a powerful tool for anyone looking to build an environment where people feel connected and valued. This is your invitation to bite off an improvement to your culture at work or to think more broadly about the communities you belong to and their unique cultures and make a shift there. We’d love to hear what Cultural Architecture experiments you try! Happy Wednesday! #CultureSummit #PeopleAndCulture #LeadershipDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #ExperienceInstitute #CulturalArchitecture
