Ottobock and SUITX have joined to become a world leading provider of occupational exoskeletons. Recent research on the IX Shoulder Air, reveals groundbreaking insights on its potential to improve worker well-being and reduce musculoskeletal strain in physically demanding tasks: ?? Up to 87% reduction in shoulder muscle strain during overhead tasks ?? 55-80% decrease in shoulder joint pressure, leading to less risk of long-term joint damage ?? No added strain on the lower back, maintaining comfort and safety across the body ?? 33% decrease in oxygen consumption and 19% lower heart rate — improving endurance and reducing fatigue These findings highlight the exoskeleton’s value as an ergonomic solution for industries with repetitive overhead work.
