We are thrilled to mark the groundbreaking of the Horizon Municipal Facilities, a community-oriented facility designed by Exigo. This new headquarters represents a significant milestone for our community, embodying our commitment to public safety and the well-being of our citizens. The project will not only meet the functional needs of a municipal government and police force but will also serve to build community partnerships and stand as a symbol of progress, resilience, and the future we are building together. As construction begins, Exigo looks forward to the positive impact this landmark will have on Horizon City for generations to come. We love collaborating with amazing partners to bring incredible projects like La Nube to our community. Congratulations to all!
La Nube STEAM Discovery Center opened its doors to community members this week. Designed to accommodate STEAM-focused exhibits by Gyroscope Inc. and immersive programs, the museum contains four interactive levels providing experiential learning environments for children and adults alike. Spanish for “the cloud,” La Nube’s distinctive cloud-like architecture is a celebration of the surrounding El Paso community and the desert’s expansive skies. As part of the project team with Exigo Architecture and Sn?hetta, we provided a suite of multidisciplinary services including structural, MEP, and fire engineering as well as audio-visual and information technology and acoustics design. Additionally, we helped deliver a unique four-story children’s climber within El Paso’s first smoke-controlled atrium. El Paso's La Nube approaches its official opening, but there were already a few families visiting this past Sunday morning. The misting towers in the rock garden were already quite popular! La Nube Jordan Foster Construction LLC Broaddus & Associates Exigo Architecture Sn?hetta Photos: Scott Weaver

Our talented Architect Paulina Lagos, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP's photograph was featured on the cover of Texas Architect. Check out the article "Skilled Labor" she co-authored with Sophia Razzaque, AIA, IIDA, NOMA, LEED AP about the construction industry's labor shortage. https://lnkd.in/gsHSHPRH
