ECA looks forward to spending today on Capitol Hill with ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership for the 2025 ASAE Legislative Fly-In. ECA continues to oppose the more than $1.8 trillion in tariffs proposed so far by the President since January. On Monday, ECA and six of its alliance partners joined more than 300 groups on a letter to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative opposing new tariffs on Chinese ships that would increase shipping container costs by at least 25%.
