One of our key points is that there is an even more urgent need to bring the discussion back to a level where people are better informed and more actively involved in the use of technologies (not necessarily AI) from real experts. We are observing a growing trend where people who were once enthusiastic supporters of large language models (LLMs) and various tools developed for them, such as ChatGPT and similar technologies, are now becoming critical and claiming that these tools have not lived up to their expectations. In our opinion, both extreme positions — unwavering support and outright disillusionment — are wrong and detrimental to understanding the true potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in particular. It is important to remember that AI and ML encompass much more than just generative AI. This area encompasses everything from classic rule-based systems to more advanced predictive machine learning models and automation through sophisticated programming. The practical application of these technologies often remains limited unless you are part of a large technology company or corporation. The costs associated with implementing generative AI often outweigh the benefits for smaller organisations. However, there may be solutions within the AI/ML spectrum that are a good fit for your particular organisation. ????
