Today we celebrate International Mentoring Day! If you are new to EWA, allow us to introduce you to Women of Vision, our mentoring program that benefits sophomores to seniors of Conroe and now Oak Ridge high school. Upon completion, the graduating students can apply and qualify for a scholarship to continue their education. Today we honor our mentor members & supporters of WOV and thank them for being so giving their time, talent, and treasure. Here are just a few benefits of participating in the Program as a Mentee: 1. Increased chance of graduating from high school 2. Healthier relationships with others and make better lifestyle choices 3. Better attitude about school 4. Improved self-esteem, self-confidence, and behavior Together, we are impacting the lives of these amazing students! #InternationalMentoringDay https://lnkd.in/g59tPgNd

What an incredible way for Women of Vision to kick off the second half of the school year with the amazing young women at Oak Ridge High School! The energy was high and the learning was inspiring. EWA Board Director Jessica Munselle with 5Point Credit Union shared invaluable insights on budgeting and saving money—empowering these young ladies to take control of their financial futures. We were also honored to have an inspiring career panel featuring: Velvet Dove from Gladd Foundation Dawn Schwab from Spinal Care Chiropractics The session ended on a high note with each student receiving a special gift—an EWA lanyard to proudly wear at school! It’s moments like these that remind us why we do this work—investing in the next generation of women who will shape our world. #WomenOfVision #EmpoweringTheFuture #EWA #OakRidgeHigh #InspiringLeaders

We are deeply grateful to share that our Women of Vision Mentorship Program has received a generous and meaningful donation from @MCCFoundation TX. The Henry T. Brooks Memorial Endowment will cover the cost of meals and other essential expenses for our monthly meetings, allowing us to continue nurturing and guiding these young women. For many years, EWA has had the privilege of offering this program to10th through 12th grade girls at Conroe High School. Along with providing scholarships at graduation, EWA members offer mentorship and support, helping these students thrive in both their academic journeys and personal lives. This heartfelt contribution means so much to us, especially as the Program relies entirely on the dedication of volunteers and community support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us make a lasting impact in these young women’s lives. From L to R: Kristen Bates, EWA President-Elect MCCF Board Member and Past Board Chair Tim Welbes Cyndi Rocha, EWA President Debbie Kaschik, EWA Immediate Past President
