This week the USDA notified the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that the FY25 Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program and $3.4M in Emergency Food Assistance for MA food banks have been cancelled. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's freely available Investigating History curriculum provides students like Kagan with high quality, civically relevant social studies learning.

Today at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Secretary Tutwiler was proud to speak on Governor Healey's proposed budget, which continues the progress towards realizing an education system that truly delivers a high-quality, empowering education to every student in Massachusetts.

Today Governor Healey's Child Care Task announced 31 actionable efforts across the whole of government to deliver affordable, high quality early education for our youngest learners and their families. We're excited to get to work on implementing them! ??

The YMCA of Greater Boston teamed up with the Massachusetts Division of Apprentice Standards to launch a Massachusetts Registered Apprenticeship program in the Early Childhood Education. This partnership not only helps meet the growing need for quality childcare in the Greater Boston area but also offers individuals structured pathway to become certified early childhood educators.
