Yesterday, I presented multiple sessions at the ELE Group, LLC's Talent Development Conference 2024: Workplace Agility in the AI Era hosted at Zurich North America. While I am passionate about presenting, what really fills my cup and inspires me are the discussions that occur after presentations. The continued unpacking of ideas and applying them to various learning and development needs. The amazing collection of minds working in L&D and HR attending ELE is unmatched for these deep conversations on learning. Big shout-out to DIRK TUSSING for developing this community and to Teri Hart ?? and her team at Zurich. I greatly appreciate how the speakers and attendees at ELE share their experiences applying various learning theories/frameworks/models in specific use cases. These insightful discussions help adjust and refine perspectives for blending theory with practice to effectively get desired results. Presentation Review Snapshots: The morning session, AI Practical Lab | Onboarding Guides for Frontline Managers, Jason Davis, Emily Decker-Bess, and myself shared to a packed room how to AI with a variety of data sources to quickly develop onboarding guides for managers as well as a range of deliverables for the onboarding process. The afternoon session, AI Practical Lab | Data Visualization and Impactful Storytelling, Mike Song and myself shared use cases on using AI for compelling storytelling to influence decision-making with shared insights by Allyson Carter and Brian Steinbauer. I am passionate about learning events directly leading to new actions and ways of thinking, so it was great to see attendees getting quick wins generating helpful images during the session! Like I said, the presentations and discussions are too good to miss at ELE. It was for that reason that I only considered documenting the experience with a selfie once the day was all wrapped up! As a result, here I am in the entry of the Zurich North America's Schaumburg campus building. In closing, I am passionate about inspiring people through engaging and meaningful learning experiences that are efficient, increase productivity, and get measurable results.
