Founded by Simon Bailey, former national policing lead for child protection, our awards recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to tackling online harms. There's still time to register for our awards writing workshop. We'll be talking through the entry and judging process, and sharing best practice examples on how to write the strongest possible nominations. It's free, and held on Microsoft Teams. Monday 24th March, 11:30am. Register here: https://lnkd.in/eyzMeAPh
Do you need some advice and guidance on how to make your award entry shine? The nominations we receive are about wonderful people and organisations, going above and beyond to help protect children from online harms. Our judges want to know as much as possible about what makes these people and projects so fantastic - this helps them score each entry as highly as possible. There are some simple things you can do to help us understand everything we need to know about your nominated person or organisation. We're holding a free workshop on Monday 24th March to share these ideas and pieces of advice. Hear from PR and communications professional Lucy Sheehan and one of our award judges, Asha Odedra. Asha is an experienced civil servant having worked in central government departments for 16 years, specialising in the criminal justice response to violence against women and girls. Asha also supported the work of the national, and independent, Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel as joint head of their secretariat team. Don't forget - nominations are free and must be received by the 4th April. Register here: https://lnkd.in/e73u7ybp
