We're still reeling from all the fun we had ??Guest Bartending ?? at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern on April 18th! The band ??One Hot Mess ?? provided the perfect soundtrack for the night as we got to know Jimmy's fun and generous staff and patrons and tell everyone about the work we do in Malawi and here in the USA?? We had a ball, catching up with old friends and making new ones! 4 lucky winners went home with 1-lb bags of Vietnamese coffee beans?2 winners took home $25 Jimmy's gift cards ?? and, our favorite man of the night, Lon, won ?? $400 ?? from the 50/50 raffle! But Lon has such a big heart ?? he returned his winnings right back to us as a donation. Lon's generosity put us over the top, as we raised a total of ?? $855 ??in under 4 hours ?! We want to thank everyone who came out and supported us, and a special thanks to Jimmy, the legend himself, who made the entire event such a smooth success and for his donation of the gift cards for our raffle. Jimmy's is a special place and their staff and patrons are one big family - we were honored to be part of their crew for the night! And we can't wait to come back and try those King of the Wings buffalo wings! ?? ?? ??
