Spine technology company, Carlsmed, was admitted to EvoNexus as a two founder team in 2019 with a goal to improve the outcomes of spinal surgery. With breakthrough FDA approval for lumbar and cervical procedures, Carlsmed is enabling surgeons to provide patient-specific orthopedic implants. Their recent announcement of expediting their technology delivered to the surgeon enables more opportunities to assist with more immediate needs.

It's surreal that our enabling research for this study began over a decade ago, coinciding with the start of the associated clinical trial conducted by our bold collaborators at CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre. That serendipity has now culminated in a stunning outcome: Patients with High MeCo Score breast cancer who received a short course of neoadjuvant antifibrotic therapy experienced a remarkable improvement in long-term survival likelihood compared to those who received chemotherapy alone. I never imagined that my graduate research project would blossom quite like this, with profound implications for the health economics of the most common subtype of the most common cancer in the US. https://lnkd.in/gwKGGf3N

“AIR hockey” Another new camera position for the AIR One robot. Hockey is one of the fastest sports on the planet so we’re turning the robot up-to-11 for our friends at NBC Sports and Game Creek Video for the Philidelphia Flyers home opener. One of the great things about the AIR One is that it is “location agnostic.” Anything that can be done on site can also be done remotely. Our tuning wizard Eyal Zubi Rubin connected in from San Diego to do the high speed adjustment.

New position for the AIR One robot at last night’s Philadelphia Sixers game, new angle for the game. Using the AIR App, an operator in the broadcast truck outside the arena can follow the action as it comes up court.
