Private Golf Clubhouse Remodel - This project involved remodeling the Pro Shop, Lounge, and Bar near the club's main entrance. Key updates included relocating a 20ft tall structural wall to create the new Pro Shop, repurposing the former Pro Shop into a Bar with new windows and sliding doors to the exterior patio, and updating the dining room fireplace. Additional improvements featured new windows overlooking the tennis courts and an expansion of the kitchen within the existing building. Laying the foundation for a future residence! While foundations may not be the most glamorous part of a project, they are absolutely essential. This stunning new home will feature two stories over a partial basement and crawl space, spanning approximately 7,700 sq. ft.—including a 2-bay garage (580 sq. ft.). Unique design elements include a terraced spa area and a custom interior steel stairway. This project will include large areas of glazing including 28ft long and 12ft tall glass sliders. Project Update: The Pegasus House! What we like about this project is that it is designed to fit within its environment. Everything—from the curved, driveway approach utilizing rockery walls, the inverse boomerang shape of the structure inset into the hillside, to the high, rear courtyard and terraced gardens—is intentionally designed to work within the restrictions of a very rugged, sloped site. Structurally it's both interesting & humbling. The structural challenges were the hillside retainage which utilizes reinforced, concrete retaining walls with keyed footings and steel moment frames to allow for maximum views at the upper level.
