And ahead of the festival, the most-eagerly anticipated racing event of the year, our Retail Commercial Director Gary Cornes interviewed Vanessa Johnson, Retail Team Leader, to hear all about what it’s like working during Cheltenham. ? Vanessa worked as a Plus Ambassdor at Cheltenham racecourse last year and shares her insights into what the busy festival is like, behind the scenes. ??

    Our Manila office welcomed Per Widerstr?m and evoke’s executive team last week as part of our leadership team’s ongoing commitment to visit each of our global locations this year. Our customer operations hub in Manila is leading the way on automation, and Exco took time out to meet colleagues, listen to their ideas and focus on exciting progress being made with Customer Lifecycle Management - one of our key strategic initiatives. The Town Hall was a highlight - lively and interactive. Colleagues enjoyed the opportunity to meet our Exco, asking lots of insightful questions and valued how open and personable they were. Huge thanks to our site leader Pia Gutierrez and all the Manila team for a wonderful visit!

    The countdown to the Cheltenham Festival is on! To celebrate, today we were joined by esteemed retired jockey, and William Hill Racing Ambassador, Barry Geraghty. At a hybrid event hosted from our Gibraltar office, Sandro Di Michele, our Director of Racing, interviewed Barry to hear all his best stories and top tips. Barry told us Cheltenham Festival is “the most important four days of the racing calendar”. He shared tales of his childhood, told us about his first ever win at Cheltenham, the many injuries he sustained during his career and shared who he would ride this year if he could… ??     Today we announced our 2024 Post-Close Trading Update which confirmed that evoke’s FY24 adjusted EBITDA is expected to be at the high end of the previously announced guidance range, and well above market expectations.? ? Highlights from today’s announcement include:? ? - Q4 revenue growth of approximately 12-13%, driven by online growth of approximately 16-17% and continued improvement in the growth rate across Core Markets and supported by operator friendly sports results during Q4.? - Revenue growth in H2 of approximately 8%, towards the higher end of the previously communicated 5-9% guidance.? - Strong cost control and an increasingly efficient operating model mean that FY24 adjusted EBITDA is expected to be at the high end of the previously communicated guidance range of ￡300-310m, well ahead of market expectations. ? Our CEO, Per Widerstr?m, said: “2024 was a pivotal year as we started to implement our new strategy for success, radically transforming almost every area of the business, and moved decisively and at pace to position evoke for mid- and long-term profitable growth.     December's One Company Call Last week we held our final One Company Call of the year with colleagues across evoke. We shared our goals and plans for 2025 which promises to be a year of profitable growth and innovation for our business. Most importantly, my fellow Exec colleagues and I reflected on some of our key highlights and achievements during 2024. We covered a great variety of topics including: the launch of our new strategy and company identity, the key drivers for bringing our business back to growth, exciting product innovations for our customers, the introduction of new DEI communities, and the incredible fundraising and volunteering efforts our colleagues have embraced throughout the year. Colleagues joined in to share what they are most proud of – the perfect way to end 2024. I could not be prouder of my team this year, and I know 2025 is going to be even better. Thank you team evoke!
