Today marked 600k bottles of MILK Postnatal sold! Celebrate with us! MILK Postnatal was the very first product of M.O.O. We started the company in the basement of a DC townhome and our founder, Lydia Simmons was postpartum, suffering with #postpartumdepression and #anxiety, anemia, low milk supply and major hormonal imbalances. During this time the word "Postnatal" was unknown and we spent a lot of our days educating our audience about Nutritional Deficiency and the problems it can cause in #postpartum . We responded to thousands of emails from people all over the world about increasing their breast milk, improving their health, and simply feeling better during postpartum. They were all quite sure that if they pumped more often, drank more water, latched their babies, and followed their mother's 40 year old advise, that their supply would increase, and they would "snap back" like the celebrities tweeting about how amazing they looked after having a baby. Many of them were really angry with us when we disagreed and moved to inspire their nutritional improvement and hormonal balance with our Postnatal. It has been a tough road flowered with education and success stories. And those moms gave us a chance, and another chance, and another one- and we became a part of their journey and family during their postpartum recovery. Almost 6 years later, we smile when we see the works of lactation consultants, midwives, doulas and ObGYN's recommending moms to improve their nutritional density during postpartum for positive outcomes, sending them to M.O.O. for Postpartum recovery support and yup, you guessed it- increase their breast milk supply! From our once basement makeshift office, turned moms working remotely in viral #tiktok swivel chairs, with our babies in the background - THANK YOU!! Cheers to 600k more! ????
