We're thrilled to announce we've officially moved! EveryMom Chicago has a beautiful new home inside Congregation Rodfei Zedek at 5200 S. Hyde Park Blvd. Our new space is just around the corner from our old location and features more square footage to grow, parking, and plenty of room for our signature Kit & Community Nights! We're so grateful to everyone who helped make this move go so smoothly and we can't wait to host you in our new digs!

Revjen launches its next Fuelworks Revenue Infrastructure Workshop today! Over the next several weeks, nonprofit leadership teams from Apiary for Practical Support, EveryMom Chicago, Chicago Abortion Fund, GYRLS IN THE H O O D FOUNDATION, and Midwest Action Project?will participate in interactive sessions designed to shift how organizations think and approach revenue. Congratulations to these organizations for making this commitment! By committing to this dedicated time as leadership teams, these organizations will leave with a common language and framework to guide their revenue strategy going forward. Utilizing Revjen's Revenue Framework, they will review their own revenue models, revenue strategies, organizational design, resource allocation, and revenue culture. Hi everyone! This past year I joined Highwind Impact Fund, a venture-philanthropy nonprofit that helps young professionals across the country make a positive impact in their communities through providing grants to and establishing partnerships with grassroots organizations. Throughout the ‘23 - ’24 grant cycle, we worked to source, diligence, and partner with small, local nonprofits that are doing incredible work but are often overlooked by larger national foundations. As Highwind concludes the end of its fourth year, I’m thrilled to announce that we provided a total of ~$140k in grants to 24 nonprofits across the U.S. this cycle. These organizations are addressing and making an impact on a wide range of issues, from education and food insecurity to homelessness and healthcare. This past year, I had the opportunity to work closely with and support two amazing organizations local to Chicago - EveryMom Chicago and the Chicago Baseball and Educational Academy. Our grants to these nonprofits will help support EveryMom's delivery of baby kits and car seats to new moms in underserved communities and will fund the equipment needs of CBEA's brand new softball program for young inner-city girls in Chicago. EveryMom Chicago wouldn't be able to make the impact it's making on Chicago moms without the village of people—many of them moms themselves—supporting our work each day. So, for Mother's Day, we wanted to celebrate a few more of the tireless women on our behind-the-scenes team: our Working Board president Hayley Younkin-Wilson; committee chairs Samantha Shay, LCSW, Gwendolyn Purdom, and Ali Wampler Cusic; and staff member Nina Askew. Moms know it takes a village, so we're hoping someone in ours can help us find our new home! EveryMom is looking for a new space on the South Side of Chicago to accommodate our growing footprint. Ideally we need: - 1,500 sq ft+ - ground floor or elevator access - a loading zone, loading dock, or easy parking - a site within 15 mins of Hyde Park - the ability to receive mail/packages Do you know the perfect place?
