This is not the first, or the second, but the THIRD time UnitedHealthcare has dedicated a day out of the year to help pack weekend food bags for kids in Minnesota. We're loving this annual tradition! In just two very productive and energetic hours, team members from their Corporate LCRA/Communications team packed 3,150 bags with food that's nutritious, delicious, and relevant to the kids in our community. The impact? That's the equivalent of 12,074 meals that will be filling kids' bellies over the weekend in the months to come. Food bag packing days are great days at Every Meal. The smiles. The energy. The productivity. The generosity from volunteers who take time out of their lives and dedicate it helping kids and families in our community have food on the table is cup filling for us. Big hugs and shout out to Xcel Energy for recently helping us pack 4,566 food bags. These will get loaded into our trucks for delivery to schools in the next few weeks and go into the backpacks of 4,566 kids across Minnesota.
