Every Cure is leveraging AI to unlock the full potential of every drug to treat every disease it possibly can.
关于我们
Every Cure is a nonprofit organization dedicated to unlocking the full potential of every existing medicine to treat every disease possible. Repurposing existing drugs is the fastest and most efficient way to treat diseases with the greatest return on investment for saving lives. However, systemic barriers impede repurposing, so patients suffer while potential treatments are not fully utilized. Every Cure overcomes these barriers to systematically identify and advance promising repurposing opportunities and save lives. Every Cure is taking a revolutionary and disruptive approach to overcome these systemic barriers by developing a comprehensive, open-source data engine to generate predictive efficacy scores for all 3,000 drugs against all 12,000 diseases and rapidly advance treatments to patients. In partnership with academia, industry, and government, Every Cure is integrating proprietary and public data into a comprehensive dataset, optimizing AI ranking algorithms, validating the most promising drug-disease matches, performing trials, and ensuring patient access to effective therapies.

An ancient malaria drug could make a huge difference for cardiac fibrosis! Researchers at Stanford have identified Artesunate, an old malaria drug, as a promising treatment for cardiac fibrosis—a condition with no FDA-approved therapies. Published in Cell, this laboratory-based discovery is really promising. Of course, much more work is needed but we’re hopeful that this will help many of those suffering from this debilitating disease. At Every Cure, we are dedicated to finding and advancing breakthroughs like this. Using our Biomedical Knowledge Graph and machine learning platform, we uncover repurposing opportunities hidden in published research and real-world data and work to turn them into life-saving treatments. #AI #drugrepurposing #raredisease #pharma

What makes Every Cure truly unique is our end-to-end approach. We take full responsibility—from the initial hypothesis of whether a drug could work for a disease, to validation through extensive medical review, pre-clinical research, and/or clinical trials, and ultimately, delivery of treatment for patients worldwide. Drug repurposing has historically relied on serendipity—whether through a chance discovery in a lab or a bold, one-off experiment. These insights often remain scattered in the literature, never fully realized as solutions for patients. At Every Cure, we systematically identify these opportunities, unlock their potential, and ensure they don’t just remain ideas on paper. Instead, we see them through to actually saving lives. This is how we’re transforming hope into action and changing the future of medicine. #drugrepurposing #pharma #raredisease #drugdiscovery

The FDA approved a drug for a new disease without requiring a clinical trial! Tacrolimus, initially used off-label for lung transplant rejection, proved so effective that once the data was analyzed, the FDA approved it for this new indication. This highlights the power of real-world evidence analysis, a strategy we embrace at Every Cure. By leveraging patient-level data., we can uncover which drugs are actually working and identify opportunities to expand their use to even more patients. This approach is not only faster and less expensive than traditional clinical trials but also a game-changer in getting lifesaving treatments to people worldwide. #raredisease #pharma #drugdevelopment

So much of our medical system relies on individual ingenuity rather than systematic solutions. Stories like Viagra being repurposed for a rare pediatric lung disease highlight the brilliance of creative doctors, but they also reveal how random and unsystematic drug repurposing can be. At Every Cure, we believe that innovation in medicine shouldn't be left to chance. This randomness can lead to gaps in research and a delayed understanding of a drug's full potential. By establishing more systematic approaches and leveraging advanced algorithms, we can streamline the drug repurposing process, making it more efficient and targeted. As we continue to refine our processes, we aim to transform this landscape, ensuring that creativity in medicine is complemented by a foundation of research and evidence-based practice. This way, patients no longer need to rely on luck or isolated ideas for their health and well-being. What inspires you most about the potential for systematic approaches like this to transform medicine? #raredisease #pharma #drugdevelopment

Interesting article by Francois Vanderseypen that dives deep into how TigerGraph and knowledge graphs can identify new uses for existing drugs, offering hope for rare and neglected diseases. At Every Cure, we’re harnessing the power of AI and knowledge graphs, similar to the innovative methods highlighted in this article, to unlock new uses for existing drugs. By analyzing vast amounts of biomedical data, we’re able to identify promising treatment connections that might otherwise go unnoticed. Our approach, using in-depth graph analytics and machine learning, lets us map relationships between drugs, genes, and diseases to reveal potential new treatments for conditions lacking effective therapies. Just like the Drug Repurposing Knowledge Graph (DRKG) helps uncover possibilities for new uses, our platform at Every Cure is dedicated to scanning existing drugs and disease interactions to prioritize the most promising, overlooked treatment options.
