This week, we had the privilege of hosting 50 of our team leaders at our new InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk to celebrate an incredible year of growth, collaboration, and success. It was an unforgettable opportunity to bring our team together, learn from one another, and strengthen the bonds that make Scarlett Hotel Group so unique. We kicked off the week by?spending an afternoon volunteering at Haven for Hope, sorting donations to help provide essential items for individuals and families in need. It was a humbling and rewarding experience that reminded us of the importance of being servant leaders for our community and?making a positive impact both inside and outside of our hotels. The summit was packed with inspiration and collaboration. Our team leaders spent the day learning from our exceptional above-property team leaders, diving into our four key pillars. The energy in the room was electric as ideas were shared, best practices were discussed, and strategies for the year ahead were developed. The camaraderie and shared commitment to excellence were evident at every turn. The highlight of the week was our awards dinner, where we celebrated some of our brightest stars: Dixit Patel was named General Manager of the Year Shannon Mundy, awarded Sales Leader of the Year Sabrina Lehman and her team at The Springhill Suites Gainesville were recognized as Hotel of the Year These moments of recognition and celebration reminded us why we do what we do and the amazing people who make it all possible. The entire week was a testament to the power of teamwork, collaboration, and the passion that drives us all forward. Going into the week of Thanksgiving we are Thankful and Blessed for our SHG family ????. This Team Member’s hype email for the company conference made us verklempt ?? Hi everyone! I am so excited to see you all in a few weeks in San Antonio and for those who do know me, can’t wait to hang out soon! I wanted to share with everyone my personal story about how I knew Scarlett Hotel Group was really a family and not just another job. About a year ago, I went through a personal tragedy. It was one of the toughest times in my life and I struggled to pull out of it. One thing I’ll never forget and can never say thank you enough for, was the support from Rob, Zio, and Andrew at that time. From flying cross country to be with me and my family, words of support, or the many other things in between, they proved with their actions that I was part of their family. Fast forward to New Year’s Eve this year when I will be getting married! I have once again been reminded I am part of a family every day at work. You would think it was one of the head honchos getting married with how excited they are for me. And they even got me a really sweet wedding gift my fiancé and I will get to use all the time. I’ve had many jobs before this one. At each place I have been told that culture matters and we are a family. But actions speak louder than words. And it has been proven over and over to me that Scarlett Hotel Group is not just a place to work. It’s a family I get to be a part of. And I love it. I am excited to celebrate another awesome year of growth with everyone soon! Maybe we shouldn’t call it a leadership summit, we should call it a family reunion. See you in San Antonio!
