Introducing Trisha Smith, MBA, our new VP, Marketing! ?? In her role, Trisha will lead the day-to-day marketing operations of the credit union with direct responsibility for branding, marketing, advertising, business development, and community engagement activities. She is also responsible for the design and execution of customer, sales, and revenue growth strategies. Trisha brings with her more than 20 years of extensive experience in growth marketing, branding, public relations, and media, advancing both established organizations and startup companies. Most recently, she served as Director of Growth Marketing at startup Helpful and was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Market Wagon. ?? What an incredible way to celebrate Black History Month! ?? Last week, our multicultural Employee Resource Group, EverUnity, proudly hosted their first event as an ERG at the AMP Enclave, located within the 16 Tech Innovation District. The event brought together local leaders and community members from the Indianapolis area to share stories, foster connections, and honor the beauty of diversity. A highlight of the celebration was the powerful panel discussion featuring Everwise's own Catrina Tate, VP, District Retail; and Darrius Davis, Commercial Relationship Manager; alongside Raymond Achille, CEO of Balance Period. The conversation shed light on their experiences as Black leaders, highlighted disparities in the financial services industry, and explored the importance of building generational wealth. ?? Earlier in the month, EverUnity also organized a virtual event with special guest James Riley, Senior Director of Internal Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion in the Development Department at the University of Notre Dame. He shared valuable insights from his career, offering thoughtful guidance on fostering connection, engagement, and a sense of belonging in both the workplace and the community. ??
