Meet Umar Salman, a University of Connecticut Electrical Engineering doctoral candidate who has been working with a team to develop an energy justice mapping tool that would help guide electric system planners and policymakers as they design the clean energy grid of the future. For our Community Relations Specialist Jason Wright, the Mass General Cancer Center Eversource 5K Run-Walk is a family affair. Together with his twin brother, Jason honors the memory of their father, who sadly passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 49, and helps to raise much-needed research funds to help others. “My father spoke very highly of the skilled, compassionate care he received at Mass General,” he said. “My wife, Michelle, works in clinical research at Mass General, so we’re very aware of all the good work that they do to cure cancer.” We hope to see you at the Hatch Shell this Sunday!
