REACH staff at our Rainier Beach office had a great conversation with Councilmember Mark Solomon representing District 2! We discussed the many service and resource needs in the District 2 community, and we're excited about the potential collaborations ahead as we address critical challenges like resource gaps and generational homelessness. By working together, we can bring a new vision to life for our community.

On this #InternationalWomensDay during #WomensHistoryMonth, ETS celebrates women's achievements and recognizes the vital role and often-overlooked contributions of women in American history. ? We acknowledge that although gender is a socially constructed concept that personally evolves and changes throughout our lives, there is no shortage of conversations to be had about women, gender, inequality, and injustice.?This includes conversations about treatment for women with opioid disorders.? ? ETS is dedicated to reducing barriers for our female-identifying patients who are enrolled in treatment and recovery services in our clinics across the Puget Sound region. ? The Residence XII Foundation helps make this work at ETS possible, providing funds to help women stay in treatment, ensuring they have essential necessities like food, cell phones, bus passes, gas cards, housing assistance, and emergency shelter to support their recovery journey. ? ??Learn how you can support women in recovery in our blog:?https://lnkd.in/gkT-D8f3

Though it initially fell short of this benchmark with 565 occupied units, the initiative is steadily progressing with over 1,000 open units in the county and more planned to open by the end of the year.
