With all the challenges that youth faces today - academics, friendships, self-image, & navigating social media - it's critical to prioritize mental wellbeing. ?? Last week, Medical University of South Carolina and EVERFI held a mental wellness event for eighth graders from Lake Marion Middle School in Orangeburg, SC. MUSC volunteers led small group discussions and students participated in activities designed to help silence negative self-talk and facilitate positive conversations around mental health. ?? ?
