Community Action and Research Manager https://lnkd.in/gzCxyZGn Location: Everett, MA Full time (this role is project based with the intention of creating a permanent community research and action program within ECG after 2 years) Salary range:? $52,000 - $56,160 The Community Research and Action Manager will work closely with ECG staff (including youth) and regional partners to lead day-to-day management of the Healthy Neighborhoods Study (HNS), as well as work to incorporate community based participatory research into ECG’s work. The majority of this work will take place in our Everett office, with opportunity for remote work and occasional evening and weekend work in Everett and around the Greater Boston region. This is a full time project-based position, with the intention of creating a permanent community research and action program within ECG after 2 years. Farm Retail Coordinator https://lnkd.in/geyiqME6 Location: Everett, MA Part-time/seasonal position (April 2024 - November 2024), average 20 hours per week Pay rate: $19 - $21 per hour (dependent on experience and skills) The Farm Retail Coordinator works to increase access to fresh, healthy produce in our community by overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail program, including farm stands and pre-ordered pick-ups, during the growing season. The Coordinator works to expand our impact through outreach to SNAP/Healthy Incentives Program (HIP), WIC, and Senior Farmers Market Coupon customers.

During our Heat Health and Housing workshop series last year, Everett community members identified Community Land Trusts (CLTs) as a means to combat gentrification and displacement in Everett. After receiving lots of interest and support for this idea, ECG has been committed to continuing the conversation about the potential for an Everett CLT! Collaborating with inspiring leaders from the Greater Boston Community Land Trust Network, we learned that an important first step is spreading the word about CLT’s. Our community gathered to hear from climate health professionals, explored preliminary data from the CLEANAIR survey, and reflected on how Transportation-Related Air Pollution (TRAP) affects us in Everett. Thank you to our community for participating in our Air Quality Workshop this past Wednesday! Joined by the Mystic River Watershed Association we were able to learn about Everett’s first air quality monitoring project CLEANAIR, contribute valuable data on surveys and maps, and reflect on air pollution health impacts. Your feedback is extremely valuable for this project, and it was exciting to introduce this important research!
