Our recent visit with Women Owned Law at The Barnes Foundation was an incredible experience! During a private tour, we had the opportunity to learn about the vision of Dr. Albert C. Barnes, who believed in the transformative power of art. We saw masterpieces by artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, and Renoir — including Van Gogh’s iconic “The Postman,” one of Dr. Barnes’ earliest acquisitions — before capping off the evening with lite bites at Urban Farmer Philadelphia. At Everest, we're always learning and growing. Three of our outstanding team members — Dennis Roberts, Joshua Williams, and Zach Namey — have the Relativity Certified Administrators (RCA) certification. This achievement reflects their expertise in managing Relativity’s platform and commitment to staying at the forefront of eDiscovery innovation. The RCA certification not only strengthens Everest’s ability to handle complex projects but also assures our clients that their data is managed securely and efficiently.

Today we’re honoring veterans, including one of our own at Everest Discovery: our account manager, Bill Bowers. Bill was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1984 to 1992. During that time, Bill was stationed in the Philippines where he assisted in the transition and departure of then President Ferdinand Marcos in 1986. He also participated in Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990 and 1991. Before leaving the Air Force, he was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. To document his time in the Philippines, Bill wrote a book called “Nighthawk – A Young Airman’s Tour at Clark Air Base.” This series of vignettes highlights his personal and professional growth as an airman as well as the admiration Bill has for the Filipino people. Thank you for your service, Bill, and thank you to all of our veterans!

It’s National Epilepsy Awareness Month, a cause close to our hearts as our owner, CFO, and president Sue Pellegrino has volunteered with the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania's Camp Achieve for 12 years. This annual summer camp is one of the foundation’s many free programs designed to empower those affected by epilepsy, and we look forward to continuing to make a lasting impact on the youth who attend.

Our owner, president, and CFO, Sue Pellegrino, has been re-elected for a second term as chapter director of Women in eDiscovery - Philadelphia Chapter, and our production manager, Tracey Donnelly, has been elected as the social media director. Over the past two years, Sue has strengthened the chapter’s engagement and reintroduced in-person events, with six events in 2023 and five (soon to be six) in 2024. Tracey will help bring awareness to all that WiE is doing in her new role, and we look forward to seeing both women continue to impact the growth of this organization in the Philadelphia area!

Our hearts are full (and sweet tooths satisfied) after the Women's Business Enterprise Center East (WBEC East) Desserts & More Fundraiser & Awards Celebration earlier this month! The dessert tables were packed with delicious treats provided by women-owned bakeries as we celebrated the achievements of inspiring women entrepreneurs in the Pennsylvania, Delaware, and South Jersey region during this festive evening. One thing is for sure — a little appreciation goes a long way. Case in point: We’re still thinking about our annual Employee Appreciation Day, which took place in August with sustenance and swag provided by some incredible women-owned businesses. Our team loved the Everest cookies by Mix It Up Bakery and the breakfast charcuterie boards by Kreations by K. Our amazing swag was provided by Blue Dog Printing & Design, and all of it was captured by the talented Kylene Cleaver of Leave It To Me Photography.
