I'm sending out a video that I made today, which covers multiple ways to light an event design. I show a number of examples and specific ways that you can fine-tune lighting in order to get the best results. These examples work in real-world applications as well as in our rendering program (RenderNow). One of the great things about "real-time" rendering and visualization, is that you get to see what lighting and shadows look like as soon as you adjust them. So there's no waiting around, you can tweak and make it beautiful immediately. Anyway, I hope this helps you to some degree. I created a quick?6 minute video to show you some updates and previews in RenderNow. These updates might help you with adding more specific objects to your event designs (specific video monitor sizes, speaker arrays and sizes). Overall making your rendering process faster and more accurate. Some of the updates and previews in the video are: 1) Video monitor preset sizes 2) Subwoofer and line array speaker options 3) Right-click to group, lock, hide and more 4) Categorized list of objects in your scene 5) New draw object preview Hope this helps! Happy Friday to you. I created a video showing some examples of how you can create a 3D customized event venue within RenderNow. This new "Custom Room" option will allow you to create a visual representation of many venues. You will then be able to use the 3D room to create renderings, fly-through animations, designs, layouts and collaborate with your clients and team. Some of the things you can customize include the following: 1) Create walls with different shapes and alcoves 2) Create rooms based on detailed floor plans 3) Add custom textures to floors and individual wall sections 4) Adjust tiling and color of textures on walls and floor 5) Template ceiling options and color options 6) Adjust room height and lighting 7) Add windows, doors, chandeliers, sconces, drapery and other decor This Custom Room?option is meant to provide a fast visual representation of a venue, however it is not a full 3D modeling feature, which means that you might not be able to replicate a room exactly. The ceilings of many venues can often be very unique, and in this case, you would just be looking to achieve a similar representation, but not exact. ***We are planning to make this feature live very soon, and we will continue to add new abilities to it, so that you get the best results for what you need.
